Advocate for Dogs is an effective spot-on treatment containing Imidacloprid and Moxidectin, designed to protect dogs from a range of parasites. This product kills fleas on contact and prevents infestations for at least 4 weeks, while also eliminating flea larvae in the dog’s surroundings. Advocate assists in controlling flea allergy dermatitis, treats ear mite infestations and manages sarcoptic and demodectic mange. Additionally, it prevents heartworm disease and treats gastrointestinal nematodes, including ascarids, hookworms, whipworms, and biting lice. Use one 1.0 ml tube for dogs weighing over 4 kg and up to 10 kg. Use one 2.5 ml tube for dogs weighing over 10 kg and up to 25 kg. Use one 4.0 ml tube for dogs weighing over 25 kg; dogs over 40 kg should be treated with the appropriate combination of tubes. Application Instructions: Hold the applicator tube upright and twist off the cap. Part the hair on the top of the back from the shoulder to the base of the tail until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the tube directly onto the skin and squeeze several times to empty its contents onto undamaged skin. Other instructions Store below 25°C away from food and feed. Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons. Warnings Do not use on puppies under 9 weeks of age or weighing less than 1 kg. Not suitable for use on cats or other animals. Handle with care; avoid contact with eyes or mouth. Precautions Test dogs for existing adult heartworm infection before treatment; using Advocate on infected dogs may cause serious adverse effects, including death. Water Exposure Brief contact with water on one or two occasions between treatments is unlikely to significantly reduce efficacy; however, frequent shampooing or immersion in water immediately after treatment may diminish effectiveness.
