Fortitude EDC Intramammary Suspension

Fortitude EDC is an intramammary suspension specifically formulated with cloxacillin benzathine for the prevention and treatment of mastitis in dry cows. This product contains 600 mg of cloxacillin per syringe in a long-acting base with aluminium monostearate, which maintains effective antibacterial levels in the mammary gland for up to seven weeks. Cloxacillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin effective against penicillinase-resistant and penicillin-sensitive staphylococci, Streptococcus agalactiae, and other streptococcal species. Who is it for FortitudeEDC is intended for use in dry cows, preventing and treating mastitis caused by Gram-positive organisms for up to seven weeks. Infuse one pre-filled syringe of Fortitude EDC into each quarter immediately after the last milking of a lactation. Milk the cow out normally at the end of lactation.
