What This Work Involves Your process begins with a one-to-one consultation (in person at Wax Spiritual in Colchester, Essex, or online via Zoom). This is where we talk honestly about what you’re carrying: the issue, pattern, or behaviour that keeps resurfacing. The session is direct and grounded—there’s no bypassing, soft language, or overexplaining. After the consultation, a private intuitive reading will be conducted, working with spirit to unfold the deeper energetic patterns behind what the recipient shared. This is a ritual in itself, carried out with intention, reverence, and clarity. The recipient will receive a written outcome with strong, honest insight—there is no sugar-coating. The messages come through as they are meant to—bold, straightforward, and sometimes blunt. These Shadow work and ritual sessions are intended to challenge, end cycles of self-sabotage, and highlight traits and imposed ideologies that keep you stagnant. Alongside your written outcome, the recipient will receive tailored self-reflection prompts, journaling questions, and a spiritual prescription: a ritual rooted in traditional practice alongside specific ritual items and a guide. This is not generic. It’s spiritually aligned, created with intention, and intended to support energetically and emotionally between sessions. These items can be picked up from the store or delivered by post and a date for a follow-up will be agreed. Follow-Up & Continued Work Two weeks after receiving the ritual and accompanying spiritual prescription the practitioner and recipient will meet again for a follow-up session. This is where the recipient can reflect honestly on what has surfaced, what has shifted, and what remains unresolved. You’ll receive further guidance and, if needed, a clear outline of the next steps—whether that means closing the process or continuing the work across additional sessions. Further shadow work and rituals may be required in situations involving deep-rooted emotional patterns, ancestral influence, or strong resistance. This will always be discussed openly—there is never any pressure, but it’s important to remain realistic about the depth of your process. The number of sessions varies depending on the complexity of the issue and your commitment to engaging with the work. The recipient may pause between sessions if needed, but we strongly advise continuing within a two-month window to maintain energetic momentum and focus.
